Kajima Properties is pleased to announce the receipt of planning approval from Westminster City Council for the comprehensive refurbishment of Grove House, Marylebone Road.  The scheme, which has been designed by award-winning architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, will comprise a ‘back to shell’ remodelling of this landmark post-modern style building to create 25,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation.  The building is being designed to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and is expected to secure an EPC rating ‘B’, setting the benchmark for sustainable retrofitting of existing office stock.  The development is expected to start on site in Q1 2011 with completion at the end of the year, shortly after the opening of the new Westminster Magistrates Court which is opposite Grove House.
