School children from Kajima’s Harrowgate Hill school project who performed a special Diamond Jubilee song, Jubliee Rock, were thrilled to receive a letter thanking them for their efforts from Her Majesty the Queen.

The performance of the song, written by Stuie Ellerton and Wil Taylor, by members of the school rock band and choir was sent to the Queen, along with words of congratulations, in celebration of her six decades as Monarch.

A CD has been produced for sale to the local community with all profits being donated to the Great North Children’s Hospital in Newcastle.
