The Mayor of Camden, Cllr. Heather Johnson, took time out of her busy schedule to come along to Haverstock School’s ‘Celebrating Parents Day’ event on Saturday 27 October.

The event, which has been running for 5 years is organised by Nikki Haydon, Community Partnerships and Extended Services Coordinator who wanted to do something to bring the parents together to celebrate their children’s success at the School. This year it was attended by over 300 parents and their children and was a huge success. Parents were able to join together in sport and art activities, ranging from egg and spoon races to five-a-side football.

Kajima Community, who play a very active role at the school, were onsite to assist with the smooth running of the event.
