CRISIS AT CHRISTMAS COMES TO HAVERSTOCK SCHOOL

Crisis, the national charity for single homeless people, chose Haverstock School as one of its ten London reception centres for Crisis at Christmas 2013. Haverstock welcomed around 200 guests in from the wind and rain over the holiday period. Supported by Crisis volunteers the guests made full use of the school’s facilities including catering, healthcare, entertainment, and sporting activities.

In thanking the school, a Crisis representative commented: “The combination of the fantastic building, lots of natural light, the mix of rooms, the use of outside football and table tennis facilities, and your location all made for a very, very special homeless centre.”
