Kajima Europe has been actively investing in European real estate markets since the late 1980’s, starting with office projects such as Red Lion Square in London and Sony Berlin in Germany in partnership with well-known developers. These were followed by high-profile office development projects including Stockley Park, a large business park development near Heathrow Airport, One London Wall, a prime office development in the City of London.

Over the years, Kajima Europe has grown its real estate business into a diversified portfolio of subsidiaries encompassing investment, development and asset management across most major European markets and sectors.

With offices in London, Warsaw, Paris, Amsterdam, and Dublin, Kajima Europe invests and operates through two primary subsidiaries:

Kajima Partnerships Ltd (KPL) is an investment and development business focusing on social infrastructure, regeneration, and renewable energy. Founded in the late 1990’s, has developed a substantial portfolio of public sector projects in the UK under the Private Finance Initiative (PFI). Kajima Partnerships and its subsidiary Pario, a leading PFI asset manager in the UK, remain investors and managers of a significant portfolio of PFI assets throughout the UK.

The business works in partnership with public and private sector partners, and Kajima Partnership businesses include urban regeneration specialist Genr8 Kajima Regeneration, focused on renewing underinvested British cities and towns, leading European renewable energy developer Pad-Res, and Hymon, a leading renewable installation business.

Kajima Properties Europe (KPE) is a well-regarded value-add investor and developer across key sectors in most European markets. Founded in 2008 to manage a small portfolio of London office investments, the business has evolved and grown into a significant investment manager and developer of office, logistics, and living real estate projects and businesses.

The business is focused on three primary strategies:

London Office Partners focuses on value enhancement investment and development across key London markets. Recent projects include the award-winning 77 Coleman Street, which set a new benchmark for boutique London office accommodation.

European Logistics Partners represent a substantial portfolio of logistics projects, delivered in partnership with leading European developers across most continental European markets.

Student Depot forms the cornerstone of KPE's Living investment strategy. The largest Purpose-Built Student Accommodation platform in Poland.

Kajima’s extensive development expertise has also been utilised in a leading resort development in Provence, France, Le Domaine de Saint Endreol Golf & Spa Resort.
